After one of their friends claimed to have gotten ringworm from a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant, mommy blog “momlogic” decided to swab several Chuck E. Cheese locations and have the samples tested for bacteria. The results are pretty gross, and make us thankful to have an immune system. Ringworm actually isn’t a worm or parasite but a fungal infection. It can be spread to others and be itchy. You can pick it up by sharing clothes or in a locker room. Athlete’s foot is one form of ringworm. It’s important to treat it so it doesn’t spread around your body. Unlike what most people think, ringworm is not about worms invading your body at all.
